“Friendship is a sheltering tree.”
Samuel Taylor Coleridge c. 1830
As we can see from this historic streetscape, trees add a majesty and grace to the outstanding architecture for which New Bedford is known. We all recognize the intrinsic value of 100-year-old elms and oaks and how they improve the quality of our lives. There is no greater expression of hope for the future than the planting of a tree.
You will become a friend to future generations in the city with the gift of a tree. The cost of a tree is $225.
